8.25″ dia. First Mexican Empire (1821-23) flag designed by First Emperor, Agustin de Iturbide. Depicts a crowned eagle, atop a Nopale cactus w/ snake in its mouth. Green & red national colors at rim. Surface wear from use does not affect transfer. Fine. Exquisitely rare example. Rex & Patti Stark Collection.
