Features all the presidents up through Van Buren, w/ Van Buren and Jackson depicted as a “jugate” at the bottom. Below them is Jackson’s famous quote, “The Union Must Be Preserved.” Lafayette and General Warren pictured at the base of the pillars. Even age toning w/ significant edge wear, most notably some small tears and chipping. Small area of loss along top edge near the center. Scattered moisture staining, mostly relegated to the outer edges. Technically VG, but will frame above grade. A rare, early print.
